Coconut Mango Lassi (vegan, gluten-free)

This coconut mango lassi is so refreshing, creamy, and full of mango flavor! It’s the perfect summer smoothie and tastes just like the one at our favorite Indian restaurant.

Lassi is a traditional Indian yogurt based drink that is normally salted, but now most people drink it sweet. We love ordering it when we go out for Indian food. It helps cool down the heat from the spicy food. I decided I needed to make it at home because we were always craving it!

Mango season is in full force and this coconut mango lassi is just divine. The hint of cardamom in it is delicious too. There are many flavors of lassi, but our favorite is the mango one.

You only need a few ingredients to make this smoothie and it’s packed with protein, healthy fats, fiber, and probiotics. I used a vanilla coconut yogurt that was slightly sweetened. If yours is not sweetened, you may need to add a little more pure maple syrup. It’s nourishing and the perfect way to cool down this summer.
