Simple Roasted Brussels Sprouts

Simple Roasted Brussels Sprouts

Brussels sprouts are probably in the top 5 of my favorite vegetables. I can eat them like candy. Roasting them is my favorite way to prepare them because it requires little oil and gives it a nice crunch on the outside, while still soft on the inside. This is my go to recipe when I roast brussels sprouts, or pretty much any veggies I want to throw in the oven. I don’t have exact measurements on the spices because it is more of personal preference of how much spice you like. If you need an easy side vegetable for Thanksgiving, you have to make these roasted brussels sprouts. They are healthy, delicious, and nutritious!

Simple Roasted Brussels Sprouts

Ingredients

  • 3 cups of halved brussels sprouts
  • Olive oil spray
  • Sea salt
  • Cracked black pepper
  • Garlic powder
  • Smoked paprika

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Line a sheet pan with a silpat mat or parchment paper.
  • Spread out your brussels sprouts onto the pan. Have some with the cut side facing down and some facing up. Spray lightly with olive oil all over the brussels sprouts.
  • Sprinkle sea salt, pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika over the brussels sprouts. You can really do however much your heart desires.
  • Bake in the oven for 20-30 minutes. I like mine a little charred on the outside so it is extra tender on the inside.
  • Enjoy!
