They are reminiscent of the famous Chewy granola bars except they are WAY healthier, easy to make, no-bake, and are made with good for you ingredients. It&#8217;s a school friendly snack since they are nut free and kid approved!<\/p>\n<p>You can also customize these granola bars with whatever seeds (or nuts if you are not nut free, just make sure you chop them up real small) you have on hand. I kept these lightly sweetened, so if you prefer a sweeter bar, you can add more maple syrup. The seeds I used in these granola bars are nutrient dense, protein packed, and high in fiber. These bars are way more nourishing than most store bought kinds.<\/p>\n<p>They are super chewy, crunchy, and perfectly sweet. I absolutely love granola and these granola bars definitely hit the spot. They make the for the perfect on the go breakfast or snack. You can eat them straight out of the freezer too, no need to thaw. I also love crumbling it up and pouring milk over it. The possibilities are endless. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p>I love the flavors of tahini with the maple syrup, but you can choose whatever seed or nut butter you like. My love for tahini runs deep so it&#8217;s my personal choice for these bars and I wanted to keep them nut free for those who have nut allergies. Feel free to drizzle some chocolate on top too if you want to make it into a dessert. They are super easy to make and a lot cheaper than store bought granola bars! sesame seeds, and pumpkin seeds. Heat over medium low heat until melted and smooth. Remove from heat and add the vanilla and salt. Stir until combined. Add to the large bowl with the dry ingredients. Using a spatula, stir until everything is evenly coated and combined.<\/span><\/div><\/li><li id=\"wprm-recipe-4967-step-0-3\" class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction\" style=\"list-style-type: decimal;\"><div class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction-text\" style=\"margin-bottom: 5px;\"><span style=\"display: block;\">Transfer to the lined pan. Firmly press the mixture down with the spatula or your hands. To make sure everything is packed in, you can use the bottom of a glass or jar and firmly press it down with that. This ensures the bars will hold together better. Place in the freezer for at least 1-2 hours before cutting them. Cut into 12 bars and tightly wrap each in plastic wrap or parchment paper or store in an airtight container in the freezer. You can let them sit for 5 minutes after you take them out of the freezer before eating.
