The vanilla cake is so flavorful and just a really good basic vanilla cake. When you swirl in the black sesame, it makes for the most delicious flavor. The nuttiness from the black sesame balances the sweetness from the cake. I&#8217;m obsessed with anything black sesame and love desserts with black sesame so this cake is one of my favorites. It&#8217;s super easy to make too. I used coconut sugar in this cake to keep it refined sugar free so that is why the cake is a darker color. You can definitely use organic cane sugar and that will result in a lighter looking cake. You can find the black sesame paste in most Asian grocery stores. I hope you give this cake a try!
