The coconut glaze is so dreamy and pairs well with the pandan donuts.<\/p>\n<p>If you haven&#8217;t had pandan before, it is a plant that is grown in Southeast Asia. It has a floral, sweet aroma and a slight floral, vanilla, and coconut taste. People use the pandan leaves to flavor sweet and savory foods. In these coconut pandan donuts, I used pandan extract for ease and you can find it easily in any Asian grocery store. You could buy it on Amazon, but it is more expensive.<\/p>\n<p>These vegan coconut pandan donuts are a must try if you love coconut. It&#8217;s super easy to make and so tasty. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry and mix with a spatula until combined. Careful not to over mix.<\/span><\/div><\/li><li id=\"wprm-recipe-5511-step-0-3\" class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction\" style=\"list-style-type: decimal;\"><div class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction-text\" style=\"margin-bottom: 5px;\"><span style=\"display: block;\">Spoon the donut mixture into a piping bag, or a large ziplock bag with a corner cut off to create a little hole. Pipe the batter into the pan filling 3\/4 of the way full. Bake for 13-15 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean and donuts are lightly golden.<\/span><\/div><\/li><li id=\"wprm-recipe-5511-step-0-4\" class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction\" style=\"list-style-type: decimal;\"><div class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction-text\" style=\"margin-bottom: 5px;\"><span style=\"display: block;\">Let them sit in the pan for 5 minutes and then carefully remove donuts and place on a cooling rack to cool completely before glazing.<\/span><\/div><\/li><li id=\"wprm-recipe-5511-step-0-5\" class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction\" style=\"list-style-type: decimal;\"><div class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction-text\" style=\"margin-bottom: 5px;\"><span style=\"display: block;\">To make the glaze, whisk all the glaze ingredients together (except for shredded coconut) in a shallow bowl until smooth. The mixture should be smooth and silky, but not too thin or else it will just drip completely off your donuts. Place back onto the cooling rack with a cookie sheet underneath to catch the drippings. Sprinkle shredded coconut on top. Let it sit for 15 minutes for the glaze to set.
