These overnight slow cooker banana steel cut oats are so easy to whip up the night before. In just one pot, the oats cook while you are sleeping and you wake up to a delicious, warm, satisfying, and filling breakfast. There are no messes in the morning and it makes you feel even better because you know you are feeding your family a healthy and nutritious breakfast. I love steel cut oats because of the hearty texture and nutty taste. Also, another reason why I absolutely love this recipe is because it normally takes 30 minutes to cook steel cut oats on the stove, but when you make it in the crock pot the night before, all the magic happens while you are sleeping. \ud83d\ude42 This makes a big batch and stores well in the refrigerator or freezer. To reheat, just mix your desired portion of oats with a splash of your choice of milk and warm it in the microwave.
