Hi friends! Thanks for visiting my blog! I originally started this blog as a place to post my favorite vegan recipes. Since then, it has transformed into a creative outlet for me where I can share my passion for cooking, baking, and recipe development. It has become a place for me to de-stress, and honestly eat all the yummy treats!
I’m a mom to two littles, a 5 year old son and 1 year old little girl. They are my world and I love being able to cook for them and show them how wholesome food can be. My son is at the age where he enjoys helping me in the kitchen. His favorite thing to help me make is muddy buddies!
I have a rare kidney disease that no one knows the cause of. This blog has helped me during my recovery and was a place where I could share what I loved to do. Food brings me joy and it has helped me in my healing process when I was at the lowest of lows. I am happy to report that I am in remission now and hope to stay this way!
On here, you’ll find recipes that are healthy, plant based, and most definitely tasty. I’m a big believer of food made from real and good for you ingredients. I want these recipes to be simple, delicious, and will make you feel amazing! Healthy food doesn’t have to be hard to whip up. They can be satisfying, yummy, and nutritious. I have a sweet tooth and always try to make all our favorite desserts a little “healthier”, while still having it be indulgent and delicious.
I am a lover of all things tahini and chocolate. Food drizzled with nut butter is always the best and breakfast is probably one of my favorite meals. Donuts are life and I’m obsessed. My mom’s cooking and any Asian food always has my name on it. I’m a kimchi avocado toast kind of girl…or kimchi on anything really. Oh and I eat chili crisp on the daily. I am not a nutritionist, but just someone who wants to bring you food that will fuel your body. I believe that food can be healing and I want to have a healthy relationship with it, but I also believe in balance. Enjoy that dessert and meal at your favorite restaurant. Don’t feel guilty about it. You do you and create those memories with your loved ones.
