Did you know you can enjoy cherries in the winter too? Because it is summer in Chile, you can savor these delicious and sweet @fruitsfromchile cherries during the winter in North America (#ad). I love just eating them as a snack or roasting cherries and topping my oats with it. When roasted, the cherries get super juicy and burst in your mouth 🤤. They act as a natural sweetener for the oatmeal and make it taste so good! Recipe is below so make sure to hit save! 💫 Ingredients: 1 cup @fruitsfromchile cherries, pitted 1/2 cup rolled oats 3/4 cup water 3/4 cup unsweetened almond milk (or any non-dairy milk) 1 Tbsp chia seeds 1/2 tsp cinnamon Place pitted cherries in an oven safe bowl or pan. Roast for 20 minutes. While cherries are roasting, make your chia oats. Place oats, water, milk, chia seeds, and cinnamon in a small pot over medium heat. Stir and bring to a simmer for 5-8 minutes until thickened. Remember to stir occasionally. Transfer oats to a bowl. Top with roasted cherries and any additional nuts/seeds and toppings. I did hemp seeds and pumpkin seeds. Easy Cinnamon Roll Croffles (vegan) 🥐🧇 Need Easy Cinnamon Roll Croffles (vegan) 🥐🧇 Need an easy and delicious breakfast for Christmas morning? These super simple cinnamon roll croffles (or croissant waffles) are so cozy and satisfying. It’s crispy on the outside and soft, warm, and gooey on the inside. The cinnamon sugar gets all caramelized on the outside, giving them Liège waffle vibes without the fuss 🙌. It’s seriously so good and way easier than making cinnamon rolls too. Nothing more comforting than some buttery dough, sweet cinnamon sugar filling, and a vanilla glaze on top 🤌. Recipe is below, so make sure to hit save! 💫 Ingredients: 1 (8 oz) can crescent rolls (make sure it’s vegan) 1/4 cup brown sugar or coconut sugar 1 Tbsp cinnamon 1/2 cup powdered sugar 1-2 Tbsp almond milk 1/4 tsp vanilla extract Preheat waffle iron. In a small bowl, combine the brown sugar and cinnamon. Roll out and separate the crescent rolls. Generously sprinkle cinnamon sugar on top of each triangle with a spoon. Roll up the crescents starting from the widest end. Grease waffle iron with avocado oil or olive oil. Place crescent rolls in the waffle iron (I fit 4) and cook until golden. Make the glaze by combining the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla. Stir until smooth. It is beyond amazing, not sickly sweet, and no one would guess that it is vegan! It’s my in-law’s favorite cake and they loved this. It’s the perfect cake for any occasion and the holidays coming up. I didn’t add frosting to this cake because I think it is sweet enough with the coconut pecan filling, but you can definitely add it if you love frosting!
