Acai Berry Smoothie Bowl

I am a big fan of smoothie bowls and think they are the perfect breakfast or even dessert. Packed with antioxidants, superfruits, and vitamins, this acai berry smoothie bowl is a great way to start off your day.

Acai Berry Smoothie Bowl

Ingredients

  • 1 frozen acai berry pack
  • 1 banana
  • 2 handfuls of baby kale or spinach
  • 1 cup of frozen pineapple
  • 1 cup of frozen blueberries
  • 3/4 to 1 cup of unsweetened plain almond milk (or any other non-dairy milk)

Instructions

  • Run your frozen acai berry pack under warm water for 15 seconds. Now it will be easy to open the pack and stick it in the blender.
  • Add all the other ingredients into the blender. Blend until smooth. It will be very thick. Add more almond milk if you like it runnier. (I personally like it a little thicker so I can use a spoon and eat it.)
  • Pour into bowls and top with whatever toppings you would like. I topped mine with fresh raspberries, unsweetened shredded coconut, pepita seeds, and chia seeds. I like to change it up every time I make these. 🙂
