8ozvegan beef crumbles (I used Alpha Foods plant based crumbles)
2Tbspbrown sugar
3Tbsp low sodium soy sauce
1/2tspgochugaru, or to taste (or red pepper flakes)
2green onions, sliced
1tspsesame oil
Instructions
In a small bowl, make the sauce by adding the brown sugar, soy sauce, gochugaru, and sesame oil. Stir and set aside.
In a large skillet over medium high heat, add 1 tablespoon of sesame oil. Then add the onions. Saute until starting to brown. Add the garlic and ginger. Saute for 30 seconds.
Add the plant based beef crumbles. Saute for 4-5 minutes. Then add the brown sugar, soy sauce, and gochugaru. Saute for 3 more minutes.
Add the green onions and sesame oil. Stir until combined. Turn off heat and serve over rice. Enjoy! You can top it with more green onions and sesame seeds on top if you’d like.
