1cupchopped raw nuts/seeds (I did half almond half walnuts)
1/4tspsea salt
1tspground cinnamon
1/2tspground ginger
dash of ground nutmeg
1/4cupmelted coconut oil
3tbsppure maple syrup
2tbspmolasses (I used blackstrap)
1/2tspvanilla extract
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat.
In a large bowl, add the oats, nuts, salt, cinnamon, ginger, and nutmeg. Stir with a spatula until combined. Then add the melted coconut oil, maple syrup, molasses, and vanilla. Stir until well combined.
Spread granola evenly on the lined baking sheet and press it flat with the back of the spatula. Bake for 10 minutes. Remove from oven and gently flip/stir granola and press it flat again. Bake for an additional 10-13 minutes or until golden. It will crisp up even more as it cools.
Let it cool completely before breaking it up into pieces. Enjoy! Store in an airtight container.
