Make the sauce in a small bowl by adding the soy sauce, vegetarian oyster sauce, sugar, sesame oil, mushroom seasoning powder, cornstarch, and water. Stir until combined.
In a large skillet on medium high heat, add the avocado oil. Add the garlic and saute for 30 seconds. Then add the tofu and gently saute for 2-3 minutes. Add the sauce and stir gently. Cook for 2 more minutes until sauce thickens.
Remove from heat and add green onions, pepper, and sprinkle toasted pine nuts on top. Serve with white or brown rice. Enjoy!
