Pear Pomegranate Salsa (vegan, gluten-free)

This pear pomegranate salsa is bright, refreshing, colorful, and so delicious! It's a showstopper, but incredibly easy to make with just 7 simple ingredients! Enjoy it with some tortilla chips, on top of tacos, in burrito bowls, or on top of your choice of protein. It's the perfect easy appetizer for any party or gathering.

Ingredients

  • 1 pomegranate, deseeded 
  • 2 pears, diced small (I used bartlett) 
  • 1/4 red onion, finely diced 
  • 1/3 cup cilantro, chopped
  • 1 jalapeño, deseeded and diced
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • 1/4 tsp sea salt 
  • 1 tsp pure maple syrup 

Instructions

  • Add all the ingredients into a large bowl. Mix until well combined. Taste and adjust seasonings if needed. Enjoy with chips, on tacos, in burrito bowls, or on top of your choice of protein!
