This fruit salsa is both sweet and savory. The juicy pops of the pomegranate seeds, sweet pears, spice from the jalapeno, and tang from the lime make for a delicious combo! We love eating it with tortilla chips because the salty chips balances out the sweet fruit salsa.

Ingredients

  • 1 pomegranate, deseeded 
  • 2 pears, diced small (I used bartlett) 
  • 1/4 red onion, finely diced 
  • 1/3 cup cilantro, chopped
  • 1 jalapeño, deseeded and diced
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • 1/4 tsp sea salt 
  • 1 tsp pure maple syrup 

Instructions

  • Add all the ingredients into a large bowl. Mix until well combined. Taste and adjust seasonings if needed. Enjoy with chips, on tacos, in burrito bowls, or on top of your choice of protein!
